Elora is an elegant asymmetric shawl with a striking crochet edging.

The generous bias shape gives a multitude of ways to wrap and adorn while the crochet border adds a touch of something special.

Elora is the first pattern in the “Just a Touch” ebook - a collection of patterns that incorporate both knitting and (just a touch of) crochet.

Knit on the bias you can work until you run out of yarn - size is easily adjustable to the yardage of your skein. The crochet edging is applied in contrast yarn after binding off the main piece.

Suggested yarn requirements:
Light fingering/Fingering /4ply yarn
100g/400m of MC, 40g/160m of CC

Sample used:
100g/402m of MC (Malabrigo Sock in Solis)
30g/120m of CC (Malabrigo Sock in Negro) and measures:
45cm deep at widest point and approx 200cm across longest edge.

Basic crochet stitches are used in this pattern - suitable for the adventurous/confident beginner. Stitches used: sc, dc, tr, ch, puff st. Nothing too tricky!

This pattern has been tech edited and test knit.
