A very Elvish Mini Christmas Ornament knit in Dream In Color Starry. The silver fibers in the yarn provide a bit of Elvish Holiday Magic to add sparkle to your tree, or knit these for the tiny Elves that come out at night to dance in the moonlight while the world sleeps. Other fingering yarn may be substituted…and great way to use up your leftover sock yarn.

A provisional cast on is used and the knitting begins from the top down, knitting the stocking first. When the stocking is complete, carefully remove the waste yarn a stitch at a time as you put the live stitches back on your needles to knit the leaves that adorn the cuff. Using only approximately 30 yards for main color and 15 yards for contrast color, you can easily knit these with leftover sock yarn, or knit many of these and make a garland. Includes a chart to knit the leaves.
