I have a bunch of Madelinetosh Merino light yarn mini skeins and I love stripe projects. So the Elyssa dress was born.
A simple, classic design, so all you have to do is add your imagination.
Suggestions to try: All solid, random stripes, 2 color stripes, anything you can think of.
Elyssa is a top down design, with a full skirt, and cap sleeves, which can be lengthen.
The button band looks good either worn in the front or back.
In the dress pictured, I did not use more than 20 yards in any of the stripes.
