These gloves are knitted in the round from the top down commencing with a decorative picot edge. The Leaf pattern is worked across the centre front of the glove with the lace rib pattern worked over the remaining stitches. A small number of decreases are worked to create shaping at the lower arm but most of the shaping is created by changing down needle sizes at the lower arm. The pattern is designed to stretch over the arm.
