Deep in the stillness of winter, go outside and listen to the silence. Stay long enough in the quiet to take a slight chill. Then take yourself inside, and give the glowing coals in the fireplace the attention they deserve.

Embers beret, with a cabled lower band you work flat, then graft. Rib the bottom edge, pick up along the top edge, then work the crown. Add leaves and cord to support a gorgeous furnace glass button. Take your own heat with you wherever you go

This pattern is available exclusively as part of the Embers Kit (including yarn, pattern and furnace glass button), from Dicentra Designs.
