I made this shawl to wear to the Knitting Guild on St. Patrick’s Day to show my knitting friends how lovely crochet can be!

It was inspired by the Treble Fantasy shawl (Double fantasy option). I saw the first section as an island, with the subsequent lacier sections as the surrounding ocean. For the edging I made a faux-Irish lace pattern - working the motifs in as part of the rows, rather than having to attach them as separate pieces.

I did manage to publish it in March 2017 (barely!) but you can make it and wear it year round!
