I am in the process of updating my older patterns to bring them in line with my current pattern writing style. Some of these patterns will then be professionally tech edited. The tech edited versions will be available separately for a nominal fee. The unedited versions will continue to be available for free. The free versions may contain occasional errors, inconsistencies and typos that I didn’t catch when editing them myself (it is actually tricky to proofread your own work). If you prefer a more professional version, you might want to get the tech edited version. If you prefer free, then please forgive any errors you may stumble upon.

A quick knit for Mother’s Day or wedding gifts. I knitted the set for my own mother and mother-in-law this year. It makes an elegant but durable addition to any bathroom or kitchen. It would also make a nice housewarming gift.

Notes on yardage.
The washcloth can easily be knitted with one 2 ounce skein. The towel will take between 4 and 5 skeins but I am not certain of the yardage since I knitted mine from a cone. One cone of yarn will make a towel and leave lots of yarn leftover. There is definitely enough left to make several washcloth but possibly enough for a second towel. I haven’t tested this theory though.
