This lacy filet wrap (or stole, if you prefer) represents the new life which emerges from deep underground; the spring bulbs that awaken from the soil as winter comes to an end.
The main body of this rectangular shawl is worked first, followed by the pretty contrasting ends. I like to wear it as a shawl but it can also keep you warm when worn as a scarf. Afterall, spring has both chilly and sunny days!

Blacker Tamar Lustre Blend DK. A similar dk would work just as well.
4mm hook
Stitch marker

Tension: chain 31 and work first 8 rows of pattern. Unblocked measurements: 10x14cm / 3 7/8 x 5 ½ inches

Measurements: blocked wrap measures approximately 162 x 54cm /64 x 21 inches

Abbreviations: Ch = chain
Ch-sp = chain space
Dc = double crochet (US single crochet)
Ss = slip stitch
Tr = treble crochet (US double crochet)
