Inspired by architecture, Emerson begins with a few stitches and grows into an asymmetrical triangle. Each segment of pattern uses only knit and purl stitches to create a reversible textured design.

Advanced Beginner: Knit, purl, kfb, k2tog.

Yarn:
Approximately 650 - 700 yards 640 - 685 meters sport weight yarn. Sample shown using: 2 Madelinetosh Pashmina (75% Merino, 15% Silk, 10% Cashmere; 360 yards 329 meters per 100 g) in Well Water.

Needles:
US 7 4.5 mm 32 inch circular.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

Gauge:
Approximately 18 stitches by 30 rows = 4” 10 cm in seed stitch after blocking.

Size:
86 inches 218 cm by 19 inches 48 cm after blocking.

Construction:
Knit flat.
