MATERIALS:

  • short circular needles 40 cm 3.5 mm (16 in US 4);
  • circular needles 60-100 cm 3,5 mm (24 in- 40 in US 4)
  • double-pointed needles 2,5 mm (US 1,5) for knitting strap;
  • markers;
  • tape measure;
  • tapestry needle;
  • crochet hook 2.5 - 3 mm;
  • 3 buttons.

(We use crochet hook to create a crocheted chain. Because we use the chain stitch method to pick up “live” stitches)

GAUGE:
21 stitches х 28 rows = 10x10 cm (4x4”) in stockinette stitch on 3.5 mm (US 4) needles after blocking.

YARN:
100-150 m (110-165 yds) in 50 g (1.75 oz) of cotton yarn or merino wool yarn (example: Sandnes Garn Mandarin Naturell, Sandnes Garn Line, DROPS Cotton Light, Drops Cotton Merino).
