Emily’s Pink Welted Blanket,is now available to purchase separate from the story book.

Emily’s Welted Pink Blanket, is included free with the story book, ‘The Knitting Ewes- The Year With No Rainbows’. Easy flat knitted blanket, knit on the bias, in a welted pattern, which makes it stretchy. A saw tooth edging is knit on after blanket is completed. I used circular needle because of the large number of stitches, which are increased to middle of blanket. The edging uses 2- size 8 dpns. I included instructions to either make a square or rectangle blanket. This pattern will be offered for sale separately at a later date, when the third book in series is published.
This is the continuing story of a flock of knitting sheep. Second in series, ‘The Year With No Rainbows’ , finds the sheep discontented, waiting for a long winter to end. When they realize they are running out of knits for the villagers, their discontentment grows nearly to the point of panic. And so the adventure begins.
