I designed this piece for my sister, who wanted a neckerchief style shawl. As it is intended to be worn around the neck it has a different shape than a standard triangle. Starting with the bottom center the shawl grows wider quickly with increases at the beginning and end of the knit rows. The lace pattern is knit over eight rows and is purled on the wrong side.
