This pattern is for an airy, openwork slouchy beanie featuring a gorgeous flower and lace stitch pattern, with a ribbed brim for snugness. This beanie is quick to work up, and would make a perfect summer slouchy hat! The pattern comes with easy to follow step-by-step instructions and helpful, clear photos.

This is an original design, using US crochet terms. You may not copy, distribute or sell this pattern as your own design, but feel free to sell finished hats made from this pattern!

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner (Requires knowledge of sc, dc, FPdc and BPdc stitches).

Gauge: Hat should measure approximately 3.75” across after Rnd 3, and 7” across after Rnd 6. Gauge is somewhat forgiving due to the extra slouchy nature of this hat.

Size: One size fits most. Hat measures approximately 20.5 “ around and 9-10” long, and will stretch.

Materials: A total of approximately 170 yards DK or light worsted weight yarn (Example uses Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in Prairie Lupine).

Tools:
-Hook: Sizes I/9 (5.5mm) and H/8 (5mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.
-Yarn needle
-Tape measure
