Emre was inspired by a mother who wanted the perfect sweater pattern to knit for her son. His personal taste influenced the overall design, so the pattern was named after him.

Emre utilizes traditional Aran patterning and seamless gansey construction. Both versions are knit bottom up; the pullover is made in the round to the armholes, then the front and back are worked flat. Both versions are connected with saddles at the shoulder, then stitches are picked up around the armholes, and sleeves knit from the top down.

Cable patterns are only charted.

Samples are 38” (cardigan) & 42” (pullover); models are 35” except short-haired male model is 38”
