This warm and delightfully cozy cowl is knitted with an innovative slip stitch pattern from Barbara E. Walker’s A Treasury of Knitting Patterns and named after a beautiful valley on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington state.

The main body of the cowl is knit flat, then the ends are seamed together. Stitches are then picked up around the top and bottom edges and knitted in the round for a polished finish.
