Simple bands of Fair Isle color work and a few stripes make a bold statement in the Enders Hat. Cozy and warm, lightweight and colorful, it’s a modern spin on a classic look. Worked in the round from a 2x2 ribbing up through the stripes, the overall length is 9.5”.

The pattern is written for one size, to fit the average adult head, 20-22” circumference.

The sample shown is worked in Faun (Main Color), Nest (Contrast Color #1), and Gossamer (Contrast Color #2).
Between the three skeins, you will be able to make two hats, changing the Main Color on the second hat.

A US size 2 (2.75mm) 16” circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge), and a US size 0 (2mm) 16” circular needle (or two sizes smaller than gauge needle) for the ribbing, as well as a set of double pointed needles in the gauge size; and eight removable stitch markers, one in Color A and seven in Color B are the tools you will need.

The instructions for the hat are written, and the color work is charted.
