Endless Spring Cardigan is a seamless open-front cardigan, knit bottom-up.

Pattern will give you the option to create:

a) basic cardigan (with Stockinette Stitch all over and ribbing edgings),
b) cardigan with a simple lace pattern on the back,
c) cardigan with a simple lace pattern on the back with a flower motif.
Just choose what kind of cardigan you prefer and follow the appropriate instructions.

Sizes (chest circumference), estimated yardage:
12m – 19” chest (48.5cm), 340 yds
18m – 20” chest (50.5cm), 380 yds
2T – 21” chest (53cm), 440 yds
3T – 22” chest (56cm), 480 yds
4T – 23” chest (58.5cm), 560 yds
5T – 24” chest (61cm), 620 yds
6-7 – 25” chest (63.5cm), 660 yds
8-9 – 26” chest (66 cm), 760 yds
9-10 – 27” chest (68.5 cm), 860 yds

Gauge:
26 stitches x 36 rows = 10 cm / 4 inches in Stockinette Stitch with 3.5 mm / US 4 (or size needed to obtain gauge)

Yarn:
Sample: Garnstudio Drops Baby Merino (100% Merino, 175m/191yds in 50g/1,76oz)

Other materials:

  • circular needles in two sizes – the first in size needed to obtain gauge, the second in one size down (the sample was made using 3.5mm and 3.25mm / US 4 and US 3)

  • tapestry needle,

  • 4 stitch markers,

  • 1 hook-and-eye closure (optional)
