THIS sleeveless knitted jacket is a useful addition to a blouse and skirt. It can also be worn under your winter suit or coat. It is simple to knit and the pattern is reversible, the two fronts being made alike.

Materials: 5oz. Patons “Beehive” 3-ply fingering wool (Patonised); one pair each Nos. 10 and 12 knitting needles; 5 buttons.

Measurements: Length from shoulder to lower edge of waistband, 16½in.; width all round underarms when fastened, 31in.; stretching to fit a 32-34in. bust.

Tension: 7½ sts. in width and 10 rows in depth, 1in.
