In its simplicity, this hat offers several variations. The pattern itself comes in two lengths, and the size of the hat can be altered by changing the needle size. In this way, the same pattern can be used for sizes from baby to adult. Different yarns or yarn combinations will change the hat’s impression, from thick and cozy to fluffy and elegant. A superb project for all those single and leftover skeins!

The pattern includes the following sizes (example of yarn suggestion noted in brackets)

Baby - needle size 2.5 and 3.0 - approximately 90 meters (Drops Baby Merino)
Child - needle size 3.0 and 4.0 - approximately 100 meters (Drops Lima)
Adult - needle size 4.0 and 5.0 - approximately 110-120 meters (Drops Nepal)
Adult baggy - needle size 4.0 and 6.5 - approximately 130 meters (2 strands kid silk and 1 strand Drops Alpaca)

I am a loose knitter, so you may increase the needle size if you knit very tight.
