Entangled Cowl
The third in a series of linen/hemp cowls, for summer wear or those seeking an alternative to animal fiber yarns. This is a cowl worked in the round in linen/cotton, with both written and charted instructions.
Yarn:
125 yards of sport weight, plant fibre yarn with a gauge of 6 sts/inch; preferably one with some linen or hemp content.

Classic Elite Allegoro 152 yards/50 gr, 1 skeins (shown in 5616 Parchment)

Needles:
- 3.75 mm or US #5, 16” (40 cm) long (or size required to obtain gauge)

18.5” circumference x 7.5” high (46.25 cm x 18.75 cm)
Notes:
1. This pattern is written to be worked in the round on a short circular needle therefore, every row of the chart should be read from right to left.

Substituting locking stitch markers for a cable needle makes small cables much easier to work. They don’t tend to fall out of your work and you can lock them if you needed. Simply use one for each of the stitches to be moved.

This pattern is easier to work if stitch markers are placed between each repeat of the Entangling Vines Pattern.
