The Entrelac Technique uses short rows, decreases and picked up stitches and the result is a patchwork knitted all in one. This fabulous Entrelac Cowl was originally designed for my Entrelac knitting workshop. Knit in Aran and using Garter Stitch it’s a perfect pattern to use as an introduction to the technique. Quick to knit using just under 200 grams of Aran Yarn. Knit on 5mm knitting needles.
The gauge for the pattern is 20 stitches to 20 rows over 5” using 5mm Knitting Needles in Garter Stitch.
The finished Cowl measures 14” x 24”. With a button band at the front, requiring 5 buttons.
Quick to knit and using very little yarn it’s a perfect first entrelac designer project.
