This is the Shawl that I use to teach Entrelac in my classes. It is written in simple knit language and is an easy pattern to follow. It does include the Leaf Option for the center tier of the shawl. It will perhaps take a bit more skill to do that one, but make a plain one to get the technique and then come back and do the Leaf version.
You can use a lovely slow variegating yarn or use 3 solid colors. It is your choice.
It is made across the long edge and only has a Foundation Tier, 5 regular Tiers and a Top Tier.
Finished Measurements: Unblocked -- 52” across length x 15” deep, Blocked -- 66” x 18 1/2”
Finger or sock weight yarn, approximately 575 yards total
(If you wish to do this shawl, using 3 different colors,
you will need approximately 210 yards each of 3 colors)
Knitting needle size, 7 (4.50 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge
Crochet hook, size H for Edging (optional)

GAUGE: In Stockinette Stitch, 20 sts and 26 rows = 4” Please take time to check gauge.
