Eponine is a fun and easy to knit crescent shaped shawlette. A drop stitch border accents the garter stitch body. While the sample is knit in fingering weight yarn, the pattern is adjustable to any size and yarn weight desired. Perfect for the adventurous beginner and beyond.

This shawlette can easily be made with any weight yarn, and to any size. Make sure to choose needles that give the yarn a soft drape.

When binding off, the dropped sts correspond to the YO’s done previously. Make sure you are dropping the right stitch.

Keep in mind that garter stitch stretches quite a bit when blocking.
