Equniox was dreamed of and created on the Spring Equinox in honor of my mother’s birthday. Born in April, I wanted to create something for her that was light and airy for spring but still warm enough to ward off the chilly evenings. The design is a balance of light and dark as is the equinoxes, and is the perfect accessory when warm days are followed by chilly nights. This is a top-down mosaic knitting pattern knit in the round, and begins with a simple lace border. There is alternative instructions for a less feminine ribbed border if you wish to create a unisex cowl. Please note, this is not a tutorial on mosaic knitting however there are a variety of tutorials offered online on this simple yet stunning technique.

Finished Measurement: 12.5 inch height with a 23 inch circumference or 32 cm height and a 58 cm circumference

Instructions are provided in both chart and written form.
