Worked as a rectangle, the Equinox Stole actually has a unique shape designed to help it stay on shoulders better! At each side, a second stitch pattern, with lots of stretch memory, is used to draw in the width of the stole , making it hug shoulders and upper arms.

The open stitch patterns create elegance, but are simple to memorize. Maple Leaves are worked at the ends of designated rows, so the edging grows along with the stole.

There are two different ways to wear this stole, both equally FUN-- the traditional “rectangle draped around shoulders, OR, 1 1/2 yds of satin ribbon laced through the long side edging transform it into a capelet style!
