This sock was designed for Scary Sock KAL
Named for our favourite 1000 year old Viking Vampire from True Blood.
The inspiration behind this design is simple really.
Some people wear their heart on their sleeve—you can wear your hero’s name on your socks—in ancient runes.
The ropes are a nod towards the days of Viking marauders in their dragon ships
The colour of the yarn was chosen because in the original books Charlene Harris remarks that Eric has striking blue eyes .

The yarn was especially dyed for me by Laura at the Unique Sheep to play with - she was so happy with the resulting pattern she has named the colourway Eric’s Eyes
