Erika is a striped pull on hat.

SIZE:

One size, to fit average size head

MATERIALS:

Drops Alpaca Boucle
Small amounts in each of 5 colours – A (cream 0100), B (grey 0517), C (pink 3250), D (brown 0602) and E (blue 7402)

If knitting hat in just one colour, you will need 1 x 50g ball. (Completed hat uses about 30g of yarn.)

Set of 4 double-pointed 5 mm (no 6) (US 8) needles

TENSION:

17 sts and 22 rounds to 10 cm measured over st st using 5 mm (US 8) needles.

NOTE: Either side of the knitting can be used as the rs but the pattern is written with the rs being the knit side of st st (as most people find this easiest). However, as our hat is striped and we wanted to blend the stripes together, we chose to use the purl side as the rs. Whichever side of the knitting you decide to use as the final rs and if working in stripes, remember you will need to strand the yarn not in use up the wrong side of the work so that, in wear, strands are on inside of hat.

The sweater shown in the pictures is QUEENIE – also knitted in Drops Alpaca Boucle.
