Child’s Gansey sweater, knit bottom up in the round. Front yokes are knitted seperately and then joined using kitchener stitch at the shoulders. Armholes then picked up and knitted in the round. Neckband also knitted in the round.
Techniques used are based on traditional gansey/guernsey techniques - Channel Island Cast on, knitting in the round, underarm gussets, garter stitch patterning.
