Ernesto Elf is a devious little gentleman that spends his spare time dreaming up adventures to take his “friend” Ernestine on. If only the workshop was clean and Santa had all the orders filled, then he could entertain Evangeline in a way only this freckle-faced little elf can imagine!
This adorable pair of elves is an intermediate knit but the most difficult part of the pattern is the curly-toed shoes that adorn their feet. This design includes step-by-step instructions accompanied by photographs. The instructions for the clothing is also included.
I used Patons Classic Wool for this design in the classic red, green and white colours but any #3 yarn will do nicely. For the facial features I used Patons Silk Bamboo in the Blush colour. Not only does it add the smooth silky texture to the flesh features but it is a dream to work with.
I am aware it is a bit early for Christmas knits but I think that by releasing this design now you will have time to make a pair of these little creatures for yourself or the most precious wee ones on your shopping list.
Who would not like to find Ernesto and Evangeline under the tree on Christmas morning?
Happy Knitting and may you love this pair as much as I do!
