All I could think when I was making this gaiter was that it reminded me of an Escher painting - the bold blocks on one side were, to me, full of a masculine energy, while the thin, fluid swirls of knitting on the other seemed inherently feminine.
I love that this gaiter/cowl is fully reversible and unisex, and I love even more that it only requires approximately 130 yds of yarn!

Note: When using the Berroco Vintage, I reached 19” before seaming the ends together, and that used every last bit of yarn in the ball. So if you need to swatch, be aware of that. When I tried to use Zara doubled, I fell 4” short despite Zara having an extra 6 yds in the ball. Not sure how that happened, but it did.
