This is a knitting pattern for hooded cowl Eskimo. Knitted in the round bottom-up with light weight yarn, decorated with fair isle and fur edge. The hooded cowl pattern has instructions for inner cowl that will make the hooded cowl even more warm, the inner cowl is optional tho. Beautiful accessory for winter.

Sizes: baby/toddler/child/adult

Skill level: intermediate

Knitted: in the round

You need:
DK (11 wpi) yarn in two colors: MC (white): 100-150g or 220-330 yards; CC (brown): 35-50g or 76-110 yards
Circular knitting needles size US 6 (4 mm) or to obtain gauge 4” x 4” = 20 sts x 28 rows (in stockinette stitch)
Optional: Fur ribbon (I used real rabbit fur ribbon)

Abbreviations:
St(s) – stitches
RS and WS – right and wrong side
K – knit
P –purl
K2tog – knit two stitches together
Ssk – slip slip knit
Yo – yarn over
Ss – stockinette stitch
MC, CC – main and contrast color yarns
