between sizes, knit the larger.
Materials: Worsted weight yarn, 200 yards of each color:
Cascade 220: 9412 Scottish Tweed (2 skeins) = Main Color (MC) (dark)
Cascade 220: 8011 Aspen Heather (2 skeins)= = Contrasting Color(CC) (light)
Supplies:
US size 2 (3, 4) needles or size needle to obtain gauge, your choice for knitting in the round (dpn,
or long circular needles for magic loop, or on two circulars.) Changing the needle size or the
weight of the yarn will change the size of the mittens. Swatching is recommended to ensure you
achieve the desired size.
Stitch marker (1).
Tapestry needle for working in ends.
Scrap yarn for knitting afterthought thumb stitches.
Gauge: 7 (6.5, 6) sts per inch in stranded pattern.
