Estoile is my first attempt at a slouchy hat. The hat starts with a simple k2p2 rib. Once the ribbing is complete, stitches are increased for the crown which is worked in Wavy Lace pattern consisting of a 10 stitch/18 row repeat. Crown shaping is accomplished by omitting the YO’s on the first 9 rows of the established pattern and a final row of k2tog all around. The tail is used to close the final loop on the top of the hat.

Lace pattern is both fully written and charted to allow for individual preferences.

This design is also available as part of an ensemble with the Estoile Neckwarmer at a reduced price and is eligible for my Buy 3 Get 1 Free Promotion. Just put 3 patterns in your cart and the lowest price will automatically be deducted when you check out. No coupon code needed.
