From Knit and Crochet with Beads To use the hooked-on-stitch method, you do interrupt the rhythm of the knitting in order to get the hook out and place the bead on the stitch. This can be slightly more time consuming, so I’ve made the trims fancier with more beads, but used the beads sparingly in the main body by continuing the beading in vertical lines here and there. This design results in a long, slimming visual effect. I could see this tunic working beautifully as a bridal top for a casual wedding! In another color, it could work as a part of a bridesmaid’s ensemble or as a lovely top for the mother of the bride or groom. For a less formal top, try substituting fun and funky beads in varied colors.
