Euanthe and its sister pattern, Thyone, are named for two of Jupiter’s irregular moons in the Ananke group of moons. These moons are classified as eccentric and retrograde, which is the perfect way to describe these shawls: a bit off the beaten path, but not too far; fun to work and toasty to wear.

This pattern is also featured in the Knitcrate October 2017 Indie Kit.
