A pattern inspired by my favorite tree: the Eucalyptus. Trellis stitch for the strong roots and cables that grow until the top. Such an imagination I have…!

A very interesting texture at the top and all around. It is a knitted hat from the bottom up.

Length from brim to top: about 23 cm/9.25”

Yarn: 1 skein Madelinetosh Tosh Merino 100 g/210 yds. Sample colorway: Esoteric
Needles: US 6 (4mm) and US 8 (5 mm) circular needles.
Other: stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle.
