This pattern is designed for a friend of mine, Tanja, as a secret santa gift.

She is in love with owls, so this is a great gift, I hope!

Socks are worked top down with a heel flap. You start with a small colorwork section (great for practising this technique) and continue with a textured owl pattern on the leg. Beads can be added as eyes (optional, you will need 8 beads, for example Toho 8/0)

Foot is plain stockinette stitch, so smooth sailing here!

You will need about 360 m (400 yards) of main color and about 150 m (160 yards) of a contrasting color. I recommend a light color for the owl part.

Diese Anleitung ist als Wichtelgeschenk für Tanja designt. Tanja liebt Eulen und so ist dieses Muster entstanden.

Die Socken werden von oben mit einer Fersenwand und Herzchenferse gestrickt. Du beginnst mit einem kleinen Teil Colorwork (super zum Üben dieser Technik!) und gehst dann in den Eulenpart über. Für die Augen kannst Du optional auch Perlen verwenden, dann benötigst Du außerdem 8 kleine Perlen (z.B. Toho 8/0)

Der Fuss wird glatt rechts gestrickt, also entspanntes Stricken!

Du benötigst etwa 360 m Deiner Hauptfarbe und etwa 150 m in der Nebenfarbe (hier empfehle ich eine helle Farbe!)
