Evelynn, named in honor of my great-niece, is a tunic style dress or long shirt, knitted in the round using 16” circular needles from the top down. You can easily make this for an older toddler or young girl ages 5-8 by using worsted weight yarn and larger needles.

Skills needed: Knit, Purl, Stockinette Stitch, Moss Stitch, CO and BO, increases are made using KFB (knit front and back) and decreases are made using K2tog (knit 2 together). You will need to make a live cast on or backwards cast on to complete the armhole.
