Evelynn is a top-down triangular shawl. It is easy to knit, and both sides look the same, because doesn’t use the purl stitches.

It begins with garter stitch, then, a bit of simple lace - just a few yarn overs and decreases, and the final lace edge use “Freak” gauge knitting, and usual decreases and increases for a gorgeous edge of the finished shawl.

“Freak” gauge (Mary Thomas’s Knitting Book)
For better results, use knitting needles that are three times the size of the main needles. Or you can continue to knit using the main needles with Double Yarn Over and dropping them in the next row
