This is an asymmetric shawl pattern. It is worked in stockinette stitch with a lace border on the wider end. A fairly quick knit with a little elegance which can be worn with any outfit.

Worked up in one size, this shawl can be worked entirely in unicolor or in a subtle variegated yarn for the body and a matching unicolor for the lace part.

I used Sandnes fingering weight Alpaca yarn for a good drape, but i imagine this shawl will look good in a smooth DK or light fingering weight yarn as well. The yarn caliber and needle size will affect the size and gauge of the final result.
