GENERAL INFORMATION
Evening Serenade is a lightweight, asymmetrical shawl worked with just two 50g balls of Knitting for Olive Merino in contrasting colours.
A simple slip-stitch pattern creates soft texture and a gentle fade effect, as one shade melts into the other like day fading into night.
Worked entirely in garter stitch with rhythmic slipped stitches, it’s a relaxing knit that makes the most of minimal yarn, producing a graceful, easy-to-wear accessory with beautiful drape and subtle depth.

MATERIALS
Recommended Yarn:
Knitting for Olive Merino 100% Extra Fine Merino 250 m/ 273 yds/ 50 g/ 1.76 oz

Needles and notions:
3.25 mm (US 3), circular needle length 80-100 cm / 32-40 inches.

GAUGE
As a guide (after blocking): Using 3.25 mm (US 3) needles 26 sts & 52 rows to 10 cm / 4 inches in pattern. Gauge is not critical if you have plenty of yarn, but if you have just the two 250 m balls then ensure your gauge matches exactly or you may run out of yarn.
