Alternating stripes of color interleave from opposite edges. Worked as short rows, each stripe falls a few stitches short of the opposite side leaving bands of solid color at each edge. Pick a soft gradient yarn to pair with a semi-solid (as shown) for a delicately shade look. Increase the contrast for a bolder look. Try a bright gradient with a solid black.
