These mitts were designed to be a complimentary pattern using the central bow and arrow lace motif I developed for the socks and cowl. Worked up in fingering or sport weight, they are a fun, quick knit and a great way to use one of those partial skeins of yarn left in your stash!

In The Hunger Games Series by Suzanne Collins, Katniss learned her archery skills from her bow making father as a young girl. These mitts let you take a little bit of a fierce lady archer with you where ever you go.

This pattern includes instructions a fully charted fingerless mitt in two sizes and three lengths. The SHORT length uses a 25g of yarn per glove, and measure from a couple of inches past the wrist and end at your knuckles. The LONG version uses approx 50g per glove and should be elbow length on most.

Sizing Information:
There are two sizes (Fingering and Sport) and three possible lengths (SHORT, MEDIUM, LONG) for these mitts. The lace pattern is very stretchy and should accommodate most wrist and hand circumferences between the two different yarns. Both sizes use the same set of instructions, the only true difference being the weight of the yarn and the size of the needle.
