The Grand Tetons are the inspiration for my sock. Many years ago I traveled with my parents to Wyoming (on the way to Yellowstone Park), and my memories are of the very tall mountains, and the trees and meadows as you approach the mountains. The sock was designed to be sturdy and practical, but beautiful. The zigzag peaks and valleys in the chevron design of the sock reminded me of the sharp mountain peaks. The sock color, “Menswear,” has the grays, golds, and soft pine greens that reminded me so much of the meadows and mountains. The sock is toe-up with sl1, k1, padding under the heel, in a reverse standard heel.
