Description from book:

“A busy day of chasing cats, tennis balls, and his tail is no reason for your puppy not to dress his best. This turtleneck is knit from colorful but tough wool that will stand up to some abuse and stay warm even when damp. Its belly-baring design means there’s less fabric to snag or tangle during play. A little buttonhole in the back of the turtleneck means it’s leash compatible.”

This sweater is knit flat in one piece and seamed up the belly. The leg holes are creating using steeks, allowing the stripes to continue unbroken. Stitches are then picked up around the leg holes and the sleeves are knit in the round.
