Here’s another wardrobe staple for any baby, kid and teenager (yes, teenager!): a comfy yet put-together, well-fitting V-neck sweater, with a few stripes across the body to customize the look and stash-bust. For a simpler, monochromatic style, it’s easy enough to omit the stripes ;)

With its extended sizing (12 sizes are included!), this pattern is full of tips and crystal-clear directions for a well-finished project and a great knitting experience.

PATTERN NOTES:

This sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down, first flat then in the round. The body features a few stripes, which can easily be omitted if a simpler style is preferred. The sleeves are separated from the body at underarm level, then worked in the round. Stitches are picked up along the neck- line to work the V-neck collar in the round.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Casting on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, knitting in the round, picking up stitches, binding off, working with two colors.
