This pattern uses two colors of fingering-weight yarn to create both vertical and horizontal stripes, using an easily memorized pattern of stockinette and slipped stitches. I designed it with the NYC grid plan of streets and avenues in mind, so I think it fitting that I am offering it for free with a suggested donation to the American Red Cross.

This is a basic but versatile pattern that can be used with various yarn weights and color combinations to create individual looks.
