One needs to be able to lay claim to one’s books, whether paper or electronic. Calling to mind gilt-stamped morocco leather, this elegant book plate / e-reader cover identifies and protects your technology of choice at home or out in the world.
The cover is worked in the round from the bottom up. The flap is finished with I-cord edging and a button loop at the point. Lettering and motifs are applied with duplicate stitch.
Pictured sample is 4.5 x 6.5 inches.
The words “Ex Libris” are fully charted. To make your own monogram, download free PDF alphabet charts from my blog.
This pattern is in the book Stitching in the Stacks, which is available in both print and digital format via Cooperative Press (the digital edition is also available here on Ravelry).
