The center motif, filled with different stitch patterns, represents windows and what you can see through them.
You get to choose what you knit in the center of each “window”. For the simplest option, pick your favorite stitch pattern and use it in each window. Of course, you can use a different pattern for each window as well!

US #6 / 4mm needles or size to obtain gauge.
US #5 / 3.75mm (or) one size smaller than main needle.
Your choice of Magic Loop, 2 circulars or DPNs for circular knitting.
At least one stitch marker, more if desired to separate pattern repeats
Approx 30 sts & 34 rounds in 4in / 10cm in cabled pattern with larger needles. Note that gauge will vary slightly depending on center motif chosen.
