I really like thigh high socks, but only about 2% of the sock patterns in Ravelry are thigh high. The problem with the existing thigh high sock patterns is - in my opinion - that they are one size patterns and normally they don’t fit my legs. The length is not the problem, you can just make the socks longer, but the problem is to get enough circumference/width along with the length.

This pattern’s idea is that you take measurements of your legs, calculate some ratio numbers and based on those choose (from three different options) how to work the sock. This way you get custom size socks that fit your legs better than the one size ones.

• 5-7mm wide elastic band
• 5-7mm wide satin ribbon

Tykkään neuloa reisiin asti ulottuvia sukkia, mutta reisisukkien ohjeita on todella vähän, vain noin 2% Ravelryn sukkaohjeista. Olemassa olevat reisisukkaohjeet ovat yleensä yhden koon ohjeita, mikä on ongelmallista, koska ihmisillä on hyvin erikokoiset jalat. Pituus ei ole ongelma, sitä saa aina lisää - ongelmallista on saada leveyttä sopivassa suhteessa pituuteen.
